Theta Iota brought home three convention awards in July, an amazing accomplishment for the sisterhood! The Biennial Convention was held in Scottsdale, Arizona at the Scottsdale Fairmont Princess. Convention awards are decided through a highly competitive application process and Theta Iota is thrilled to be recognized for our many achievements this biennium!
At the Alpha Phi Foundation's Red Dress Gala Event, Theta Iota was awarded the Foundation Award for Top Fundraising in the Southeast Region for the Biennium. You can read more about the Theta Iota Philanthropy Week, Aphiasco, on this website.
At the Collegiate Awards Banquet, Theta Iota was awarded Excellence in Chapter Leadership and Outstanding Advisory Board. Only two chapters out of the one hundred and forty seven chapters in the United States and Canada win these awards every two years, so being recognized for one is a huge accomplishment. Theta Iota is very, very proud to have won not one, but two awards!!
Convention was attended by four Theta Iota sisters: sister Sheryl Bashoff (Vice President for Program Development) attended as the voting delegate, Advisor Cathy McKay attended as the voting advisor delegate,
and alumni Mary Paige Edwards attended as the Atlanta Alumni Group's President and voting delegate. Congratulations to all of the Theta Iota sisters, past and present, for a dedication to excellence.
