n October 2011, the Theta Iota chapter celebrated its 20th anniversary. The chapter had so much to celebrate as we took a look at the past twenty years we have been at JMU and all the times that we have shared together. Sisters and their families came from across the country!
We thought about the friends we made through Alpha Phi, the traditions, the memories, and all the laughter we have shared together. This was a great time to reconnect with sisters many have not seen in years. This was the time to remember why we all became Alpha Phis.
The weekend's schedule included opportunities for alumnae to meet and catch up with their sisters, tour the Alpha Phi house, visit the JMU campus, and participate in a 10 Year Anniversary Pinning Ceremony.
You can keep up with the chapter by following us on our Twitter page, joining us on Facebook, or reading our chapter's blog.

Look out for information on our Red Dress Gala in February! We look forward to welcoming many alumnae to this event.
Volunteer opportunities
Alpha Phi is a continually expanding organization with new chapters starting each year. With this continual growth, we are always looking for volunteers to help out with the collegiate chapters. If you would like to get involved with the JMU chapter or with a chapter that is closer to you, please contact Megan Ridgway for more information or go to the JMU Alumni Association's JMU LOVE page and fill out their form to get involved. Volunteering is a great way to stay involved in Alpha Phi and also will make a lasting impact on the future of the fraternity.
